Pre-K

     Letter Mm and letter Pp phonics and lettersounds. Students will familiarize themselves with syllables and words. Students will listen to the story "The Little Red Riding Hood."

Kinder
      Students will engage in reading and read for fluency and understanding. Students will read Mini Stories and learn to identify the Main Idea. This will enhance understanding and comprehension skills.

1st grade

     Students will learn to identify correct punctuation marks on text and recall HFW words in text. Students will read for understanding as well as for pleasure. The student will learn to select books and identify different genres. Students will learn about Narrative stories and write thier own stories .Students will learn how to summarize information in stories.

2nd grade 

          Story " Rafi and Rosi Carnival" Students will engage in reading and discussion. Learn how to identify and analyze ficitional chararcters.
